Bregenzerwald craftsmanship in its most beautiful form
For many years, the Bregenzerwald has been known far beyond the country's borders for the fact that the way they build is a surprisingly different. From the bus stop to the hotel, from the kindergarten to the apartment building. The local craftsmanship is characterized by a lot of wood and a strikingly modern, timeless architectural style.
Wälder Stube 1840
The shingled main building from 1840 is the beating heart of the house. Time-honoured parlours with wood panelling and creaking floorboards breathe the spirit of history. Today, "one of the best cuisines in Vorarlberg" is served here. The menu restaurant, which has been awarded three Gault Millau toques, is the exciting antithesis to the in-house shop.
Ernele
The Ernele brings under one roof what the Bregenzerwald and the surrounding area have to offer in terms of fine delights. In this light-flooded wooden cube, you can watch the chef prepare the food from the large oak tables. The Ernele stands for regional patriotism – if possible, only food from a maximum radius of 100 km from selected partners and its own vegetable and herb garden is served.
Lobby with tiled stove
Here you can read and laugh, drink a good glass of wine or a cup of tea and decorate the Christmas tree before Christmas. Especially in winter, when the logs crackle in the large tiled stove, our lobby exudes this very cozy atmosphere ...
Places of enjoyment for our guests
Flooded with light, with a beautiful view of the terrace, our dining room is particularly popular with the house guests. Here, as well as in the cosy Stube Süd, the gourmet menu is served as part of the pampering board.

In the tea room, fine treats for the little taste are offered from the early afternoon: here you can enjoy homemade cakes and pastries, fruit, a selection of Vorarlberg cheeses and snacks. And the beautiful view out into the garden.

The in-house cheese cellar is unique – here the "golden nuggets" from the alps are waiting to be tasted! An Eldorado for the subtle and connoisseurs!
Our green Salon
What a view! Every guest who looks out over our extensive garden into the mountains for the first time is fascinated. Our green salon is a dream - in summer, when sunny and shady spots invite you to idle on the spacious lawn. In winter, when you can catch the last rays of sunshine of the day from the steaming pool...
